On the third Monday of every month @ 12pm, "Let's Shake On It" with Shruti Kumar will bring together 2 esteemed musical guests with varied backgrounds to discuss their influences, careers (highlights + obstacles), and apply their experiences to engage in a moderated discussion on larger issues in the music industry (i.e. streaming, labels / distribution, programming, representation / access to opportunity, unions or a lack thereof, work culture, etc.) This effort to seek productive dialogue and common ground will conclude with a short collaboration in the studio, highlighting how our differences can really enrich a musical result.
